Factoring Assistant – Job Description

An excellent opportunity to join a new and enthusiastic property Factoring team in Glasgow.

We are now recruiting for a Factoring Assistant to support our busy and growing team with particular focus on delivering high levels of customer service.

The role will offer good career prospects, hybrid working, a varied workload and a supportive and friendly working environment.

Key duties will include:

  • Handling of day to day matters with support of our Managing Director and being the main point of contact for property owners for any issues relating to their property development – repairs, services (cleaning/gardening) and billing queries.
  • Providing a responsive, professional, and friendly service while building good relationships with owners.
  • Managing maintenance issues from start to finish – instructing and liaising with trades /contractors – keeping owners fully updated.
  • Overseeing service contracts at property developments and resolving any issues, including safety compliance instruction.
  • Carrying out regular property inspections with support of our Managing Director. 
  • Occasional meetings with owners, accompanied by our Managing Director.
  • All connected admin, email communications, telephone calls.

Candidates should have experience in a similar property based role however factoring experience isn’t essential. It’s important you are a confident communicator with good organisational skills and a professional outlook. Past experience of maintenance is desirable. Full driving license required.
